Mandated Screenings Performed at School

During the school year, we will assess your child's height and weight and screen their vision. In addition, a hearing screening will be given to 11th graders.  A referral will be sent home if further evaluation is recommended for these screenings. 

If your child submits a PIAA sports physical or private physician physical to our office, this screening information may also be gathered from these forms.

Location: The Health Room is located on the first floor next to the main office (A-4)

Times: 7:55 am – 2:55 pm. The office is open to all students and staff of PAHS. All students must have a pass for admission to the nurse’s office. Exceptions are made in emergency situations. 

All students leaving the building due to illness MUST be dismissed through the nurse’s office. When a student is sent home an Illness Dismissal and Readmittance Form is sent with them to be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the Attendance Office. Students are to sign out with the Front Desk prior to leaving the building. Transportation is the responsibility of a parent/guardian.
