Senior Project PresentationsEach year the graduating Senior class presents volunteer projects they completed as a requirement for graduation.  Again this year, the projects exceeded expectations.

A notable project presented by Eric Burns (pictured) focused on the watershed around Manavon Elementary.  Eric, the HS Environmental club and The Green Valley Association worked together with 250 students (HS and Elementary) to alleviate the pollutants entering the local stream.

Many students shared their love of sports by volunteering at local summer sports camps.  These students learned patience and team building while working with the young campers.

Summer Cirino and Ashley Brown dedicated their time to starting a school club called Phoenixville Platform for Service.  This club now has over 85 members who volunteer their time to help the Phoenixville Community.  As graduating seniors they have already passed the leadership roles of the club onto underclassmen.

Other seniors worked at the SPCA, Spring Mill Retirement Community and raised money for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

The students all agreed that they learned from their experience and that it positively shaped their lives.
