Posted on 05/23/2018
We are pleased to announce that Xandra Coleman WON the Casey A. Feldman Memorial Scholarship at the 2018 Cappies Gala!
This award gives her $1,000 toward her education for next year! It will help pay her tuition for her year in Senegal, where she will be learning a new language and culture, doing service work in the form of an apprenticeship with a local organization, and earning college credit.
CONGRATULATIONS, Xandra!
We were also nominated for 7 other awards, which meant we were in the top 5 among 38 schools:
The Radium Girls – Ensemble in a Play
Rachael Hesse – Featured Actress in a Play
Brennan Becker – Featured Actor in a Play
Kyra Bernotas – Comic Actress in a Play
Xandra Coleman – Supporting Actress in a Play
Julianita Vlad – Lead Actress in a Play
Radium Girls – Play
Attached are some pictures with Xandra receiving the award from the Feldmans, the scene we performed during the gala, and a couple of pictures of a well-dressed group, including our presenter Dr. Parkinson!!
