The PAHS String Ensemble kicked off Spring Break with a trip to The Hartt School, the Conservatory at The University of Hartford in Central Connecticut. Students had a master class/clinic, tours of both The Hartt School and The University of Hartford Campus, observed and took part in rehearsal with the Hartt Orchestra, and then joined them in a performance of Johannes Brahms’s Academic Festival Overture, Op. 80. Throughout their visit, students were led by Hartt Director of Orchestral Activities Professor Edward Cumming. A HUGE thank you to Professor Cumming and the Hartt Students for allowing the PAHS String Ensemble to join them.
