Welcome Dr. Scioli
Dear Families of Phoenixville Area High School,
I hope this message finds you well and you are enjoying your summer. As you may be aware, I was recently appointed principal of Phoenixville Area High School, so I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. Some of you may already know me as I have had the privilege of serving the high school over the last two years as Assistant Principal.
I have been an educator for over 20 years now, both at the elementary and secondary levels. I started my career as a high school English teacher and made the transition to administration just over 8 years ago. I know with the departure of Dr. Parkinson I will have some very large shoes to fill, but I am confident that we can continue the tradition of excellence here at Phoenixville Area High School for years to come. Like Dr. P, I pride myself in being a student-centered educator with a strong dedication to promoting success for all learners.
Though my professional experience has brought me to many different schools and communities, I must admit that there is no place like Phoenixville. Our students are extraordinary and bring an energy to our building that makes me grateful that I am an educator. I have difficulty adequately expressing how truly excited I am to take on this new role.
As a school administrator, I know just how important it is to have students, parents, teachers, and community work together supporting our students to help them to realize their potential.
