On Behalf of the Class of 2020 Officers,
We are pleased to share a special gift from the Phoenixville Area High School Class of 2020, created by local artist, Teresa Haag. Beneath the many layers of paint, senior portraits of the class of 2020 build the foundation for this significant art piece. The piece, entitled Rise, symbolically portrays the PAHS Class of 2020 throwing their caps in the air to form a Phoenix, our hometown symbol of strength, renewal and overcoming adversity. The class gift will include a print for each member of the class of 2020 and select members of administration. We look forward in the future to holding a dedication ceremony of this beautiful piece which will be hung in Phoenixville Area High School. We would love to dedicate this piece to not only the class of 2020, but all students impacted by the weight of Covid-19.
