Last week, three of our top Science students competed at the Chester County IYPT (International Youth Physicists Tournament) Selection Tournament. Eric Beery and Anthony Mazur had the highest scores in the tournament, with Willetta Wisely selected as the 1st alternate for the team competing in the National Selection Tournament.
The National Selection Tournament was held this past Saturday at the University of the Sciences. Eric had the best performance there and helped edge out a very competitive team from the Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science. As a result, the Chester County team will be representing the US at IYPT in Beijing this summer.
