Mini-Thon

Mini-THON

The students at Phoenixville Area High School spend 12 hours on their feet through the night to benefit Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, Hershey, PA.  The PHX “Mini-THON” is based on the Penn State Dance Marathon---the largest student-run philanthropy in the nation where dancers spend 46 hours awake and on their feet to raise money for pediatric cancer patients.  The mission of Four Diamonds is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and their families, through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research.  Phoenixville students organize, run, and fundraise for this event throughout the year.  This year’s Mini-THON is scheduled for early spring.  PHX Mini-THON is looking for committee members to serve and welcomes all to join us to dance the night F.T.K.—For The Kids.
